Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 2-3 Cloves of Garlic, minced
- 28 oz. Can of Crushed Tomatoes
- 6 oz. Can of Tomato Paste
- 1/2 Tbsp Sugar
- 3/4 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Dried Basil
- 1/2 tsp Dried Oregano
- Freshly Ground Black Pepper (~10 cranks or 1/2 tsp or so)
- 1 Pinch of Crushed Red Pepper (optional)
Instructions

Add the olive oil and garlic to a sauce pan and cook over medium heat.
Cook for 1-2 minutes until the garlic softens and the kitchen smells like garlic -
Add the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, salt, basil, oregano, pepper, and a pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)

Cover and let the sauce come to a simmer. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 15-30 minutes.
